Modular Solutions for the middle class to boosting their own integration of e-Business-Standards in complex Supply-chain-process
The aim of the project is the analyses of the use of eBusiness Standards in companies. Identification of typical sets of standards in use for characterisitic problems. Development of formal guidlines and toolings to enable companies to derive a optimized usage of eBusiness Standards.
The project plan “e-Step Middle class – Modular Solutions for the middle class to boosting their own integration of e-Business-Standards in complex Supply-chain-process” (hereafter briefly denote as e-Step Middle class) has the aim to optimize the use of e-Business-Standards and coordinated master data.
This is done by the development of appropriate methods and models for the launch of e-Business-Standards. With their help the small and medium-sized enterprises are able to estimate better and independently the complexibility of e-Business-projects. In this way the enterprises can more realistic assess the risks, like investment needs and Know-How-operations by the introduction of standards.
The small and medium-sized enterprises hereby get a sound basis for decision for the conversion to standards-based, electronic business processes. This corresponds to the aim of the tender “e-Standards- standardize business processes, secure success “of the federal Ministry for Economy and Technology. In this connection it will be pursued the aim to improve business projects in the small and medium-sized enterprises of the Germans in order to boost the competitive position, by improving the launch of e-Business-Standards.
