LidA

Learning in the digitised world of work

The aim of the joint project LidA - Lernen in der digitisierten Arbeitswelt - is to enable employees for the working world of the future and the challenges of digital change in companies in the long term. Within the framework of the joint project, future competence requirements are forecast and prepared in a competence navigator in such a way that individual learning paths can be developed. The individual teaching and learning modules are embedded in a didactic concept tailored to needs and made available on a teaching and learning platform with broad impact.

The overall objective of LidA will be achieved in four subgoals, which will be implemented within the framework of three case studies of the participating industrial companies of the joint project.

  •  The first subgoal deals with the prognosis of competences required in the future. These will be developed by means of a consensus-based expert survey and taking into account current technological developments along the three case studies.
  • This is followed in the second subgoal by the development of industry 4.0 maturity-based scenarios for the case studies and the development of a competence navigator for the target industries involved.
  • The third subgoal focuses on the design of e-learning modules using dedicated teaching and learning methods. In contrast to conventional teaching and learning concepts, which mostly aim at the pure transfer of knowledge, the research project LidA addresses an individualised, context-related competence development by means of e-learning modules, which employees can proactively use.
  • In the fourth and final sub-goal, the e-learning modules created will be made available on an open source platform for barrier-free use. The platform provides internal and external users with teaching and learning content that can be called up and used on individual learning paths with the help of topic-specific modules.

The LidA teaching and learning platform is intended to enable a broad circle of users, in particular small and medium-sized enterprises, to receive needs-based training for employees in the age of digital change.
