EVAREST
Smart services in food production through data products
EVAREST aims at the continuous collection, evaluation and provision of data via a global, decentralized IoT data market.
EVAREST aims at the continuous collection, evaluation and provision of data via a global, decentralized IoT data market.
In the BMWi-supported research project "EVAREST" the FIR at the RWTH Aachen together with project partners like the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence and the chocolate manufacturer Lindt is investigating the chances of digitization in the food industry.
Up to now, the mass data generated in the food industry has only been used for production optimization; there is usually no cross-location or cross-manufacturer utilization of the data.
EVAREST intends to collect, evaluate and make available the data on a global, decentralized IoT data market. In addition, semi-automated, higher-value data products can be made tradable using AI services.
