UdZ 03.22 / 31 zusammen mit dem FIR an der RWTH Aachen (FIR), dem Werkzeugmaschinenlabor WZL der RWTH Aachen und dem Lehrstuhl für Prozess- und Datenwissenschaften (PADS) der RWTH Aachen im Rahmen von FLAIR zusammen und entwickeln gemeinsam die KI- und Robotiklösungen von morgen für die Fertigungsindustrie. Vier Mitglieder des RWTH Aachen Campus unterstützen vor Ort die Aktivitäten: Dr. Benny Drescher (INC) als CTO, Guido Leenknegt (INC) als Head of Commercialisation, Junjie Liang (WZL) und Max Wittstamm (CCI) als Product-Owner. In den Projekten werden behandeln die besonderen Herausforderungen in der Fertigung in Hongkong und AI and Robotics solutions for the manufacturing industry. Four RWTH Aachen Campus members are seconded to FLAIR, namely Dr. Benny Drescher (INC) as CTO, Guido Leenknegt (INC) as Head of Commercialisation, Junjie Liang (WZL) and Max Wittstamm (CCI) as Product Owners to support in Hong Kong on site and drive the collaboration. The projects address unique challenges in manufacturing in Hong Kong and GBA. For example, CCI and FLAIR research on AI computer vision algorithms for the evaluation of product quality in LCD manufacturing industry. Together with the industrial partner TCL Corporate Research (HK) they presented in a recently TheGuangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) is a major manufacturing hub worldwide and has become an attractive area for high-value businesses, providing abundant opportunities for forward-looking industrial companies.We believe in the importance and transformative change of AI and robotics technologies for themanufacturing industry.We are glad to work at the forefront of these technologies togetherwith RWTH Aachen Campus, and drive the industrial revolution in Hong Kong, the GBA and worldwide.
