Das FIR an der RWTH Aachen ist zuständig für die Testumgebung in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Konkret geht es um den Anwendungsfall, den Arbeitsplatz von Mitarbeitenden im Homeoffice ergonomisch zu gestalten. In Zusammenarbeit mit den Kooperationspartnern ist es die Aufgabe des Teams, die schon bestehenden Geschäftsmodelle zu identifizieren, zu vergleichen und zu bewerten, die mit den „Smart Capacitating Investments“ kompatibel sind. In Bezug auf den konkreten Anwendungsfall sollen die Stärken und Schwächen, Prioritäten und Anforderungen herausgestellt werden. Assoziierte Partner für die FIR-Testregion, die zur Validierung der Geschäfts- und Finanzierungsmodelle beitragen, sind der Zweckverband der Region Aachen, der Fachbereich Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft, Digitalisierung und Europa der Stadt Aachen, die BARMER und die Techniker Krankenkasse sowie das MedAix. Das FIR-Team untersucht derzeit detailliert das Ökosystem in der Testumgebung. Im Oktober wird das FIR das EU-weite Konsortium zur Vorstellung der Testumgebung und zur Reflexion und Weiterentwicklung der Projektergebnisse in Aachen begrüßen.
