Inda Bots siegen in Sydney Unser Geschäftsführer Prof. Wolfgang Boos traf am 15. August die Inda Bots, eine Gruppe von sieben Schüler:innen des Aachener Inda-Gymnasiums im Alter zwischen 10 und 16 Jahren. Prof. Boos gratulierte dem Team persönlich zum Erfolg, den sie mit einem Forschungsprojekt erzielten: Mit einem ausfahrbaren, dem Sonnenstand automatisch folgenden Photovoltaik-Modul qualifizierte sich das Team bereits im März bei der First Lego League in Dresden für die Teilnahme an der Asia Pacific Open Challenge in Sydney. Die Reise nach Sydney in diesen Sommerferien unterstützte die FIR Aachen GmbH als Silbersponsor. Erneut waren die Inda Bots erfolgreich und brachten aus Down under gleich zwei Trophäen mit nach Aachen: Für ihre technisch schon so weit entwickelte Lösung erhielten sie den Break Through Award. Zusätzlich wurde ihr Lehrer, Dr. Andreas Uhe, mit dem Coach Award für sein Engagement ausgezeichnet. Herzlichen Glückwunsch an alle Beteiligten! » fir-aachen.gmbh Inda Bots Win in Sydney On August 15, our CEO Prof. Wolfgang Boos met the Inda Bots, a group of seven students from the Inda-Gymnasium in Aachen, Germany, aged between 10 and 16. Prof. Boos personally congratulated the team on the success they achieved with a research project: With a retractable photovoltaic module that automatically follows the position of the sun, the team qualified for participation in the Asia Pacific Open Challenge in Sydney back in March at the First Lego League in Dresden. The trip to Sydney this summer vacation was supported by FIR Aachen GmbH as a Silver Sponsor. Once again, the Inda Bots were successful and brought two trophies back to Aachen from Down Under: For their technically already so far developed solution they received the Break Through Award. In addition, their teacher, Dr. Andreas Uhe, was honored with the Coach Award for his commitment. Congratulations to all involved!
